1⃣ Double Cleansing
Many people believe that foaming cleansers are better for oily skin, but in reality, unnatural foaming cleansers can actually disrupt your skin’s protective layer and signal your skin to produce even more oil. Stripping away sebum can trigger a cycle where your skin produces extra oil to compensate for what’s been stripped away.
Switching to a natural cleansing oil or gel that emulsifies, meaning it foams slightly when it comes into contact with water, can help oily skin feel more balanced and produce less oil.
Try to get out of the habit of thinking that deep cleansing is good. If your skin feels tight after cleansing or feels like it urgently needs moisturizer, it’s because your cleansing routine is too intense.
How to do it?
In the morning, you will cleanse your skin only once. But at night, even if you don't wear makeup, cleanse your skin twice: once with an oil-based product, the makeup remover. And a second time with the same product you used in the morning.
You will need two products, one oil-based and one water-based.
